This study used the answers of people who had at least seven years of medical history and those of thirty-seven people who suffered from cancer. Moreover, it was demonstrated that not only the number of cases decreases significantly, but also that people who are already suffering from cancer have thirty-three per cent more chances of recovering. The researchers claim that it is absolutely necessary that an intense physical activity, such as cycling, can extend one's lifespan.
Add these results to the other benefits cycling has, such as the decrease of the blood pressure, the elimination of stress and a healthy cardiovascular system and you have another reason to get on your bike every day. So, try spending more time outside riding your bike and you can live a healthier life, a longer one and you can also forget about your muscles becoming lazy. This way, you can be healthy and active even if you aren't a youngster anymore.
